Ostrich meal is an animal protein, produced from ostrich by-products. The meal is produced from category 3 ostrich by-products. All raw material used originates from ostriches slaughtered in a South African export approved abattoir following ante mortem inspection. Ostrich meal is used as a protein source for petfood.
